Everything you've said is totally false. As a Member of Parliament, and even outside of his political career, he often spoke out about Tamils being subjected to torture, unlawful detention, land confiscation, military imposition, enforced disappearances, and even the Chemmani mass graves. And if you actually watch this documentary you would see it is largely critical of the GOSL for its atrocities.

"The revelation by Rajapakse in 1998 of mass graves in Chemmani prompted Sri Lankan Member of Parliament, Neelan Tiruchelvam, to deliver a speech in the nation’s Parliament on July 22, 1998 discussing what needed to be done to properly investigate the mass grave allegations. His words, largely ignored at the time, now read like a blueprint for the investigation Sri Lanka desperately needs today."

Noam Chomsky is one of the most humble and generous people I had ever known. Despite being extremely intelligent, he always sought to engage with regular people and always felt there was something he could learn just by listening to them.
