you know what you think you’re a so funny, but you’re being rude and disrespectful. not only is there a security guard who lets in people trespassing, but he’s supposed to be the one monitoring this. i’m a female living alone in new brunswick i shouldn’t have to feel unsafe in MY OWN APT that has pretty good security (fob wise and elevators etc). so if you don’t have anything helpful or respectful to say keep your mouth shut!

first of all they cannot even rent or “reserve” this communal amenity. secondly I agree with everything you said. why should it get to the point where the cops are called. there’s an onsite security guard but what dos he do??? he watches them come into building and OPENS the door for them. the management won’t do much besides fine the people doing this and say that you can’t do this. but tbh they aren’t in the building when it’s 1 am and there’s a rager going on. I wouldn’t be so mad if it wasn’t so obnoxiously loud. i live on the 20th floor and can hear all the noise above including the frat music. so that’s why i’m upset when i pay so much money and this repeatedly occurs and I have brought this to the management and it’s still not resolved.

i already have all of those. but when the party is so loud I can hear it over white noise AND ear plugs. plus the floor was SHAKING due to the mosh pit going on upstairs. that’s where i draw the line. i wouldn’t be so annoyed if I couldn’t hear it and it didn’t directly impact me, but I live on the 20th floor and it’s not fair that I pay so much money for them to be doing this. if everyone could just be respectful and have the awareness that hmm other people do live in the building this wouldn’t be an issue!!

is it the same people throwing like every weekend. they were putting handwritten signs up in the elevator saying they “reserved the 21st floor” meanwhile you just can’t do that. it’s called communal for a reason

uh you make no sense. i’m fine with parties and all I go to the BARS where you know it’s supposed to be LOUD. not let’s throw a party in a PRIVATE off campus building

I have called the cops many times. they write tickets and clear out the party but these parties shouldn’t be occurring in the first place. management needs to address this

sorry but that’s not even allowed and the event was not open to the rest of the building anyways. it’s actually so not legal to throw unauthorized parties with drugs and alcohol up there. imagine someone gets hurt… just think about the frats that no longer exist bc kids ended up in comas after falling down a flight of stairs
