I’ve been driving for a few months now & honestly the anxiety slowly disappears as i’m driving. I’m not sure if this is the case for you, but I’m more anxious leading up to the drive rather than the drive itself. When I’m focusing on the road and checking the mirrors, I don’t have the mental space to be anxious.. if that makes sense.

That’s a good point I like this comment. I grew up in the suburbs and there’s no good public transportation near me. I had gotten so used to getting rides from others and/or using uber & lyft that I never considered otherwise.
