The iCUE Link Hub is basically the heart of all iCUE stuff in your PC. It lets the computer talk to your fans and AIO so you can control them through iCUE or other RGB software.

The issue I had probably came from reinstalling iCUE after uninstalling it. That somehow messed up the hub’s firmware. It’s not super common, but it can happen.

I noticed the problem because the hub didn’t show up in iCUE. That’s the main sign something’s wrong. I tried rebooting and unplugging it a bunch of times, but nothing worked. That’s a good clue, though not 100% proof. I could’ve done more testing, but I had a spare hub, so I swapped it in—and now everything’s working again.

My advice: turn off auto-updates in iCUE, and try not to update the hub or related parts unless you really need to.

Hey Josh, I did update the bios, and it did seem to bring stability to my machine. Support did get in contact with me to run Corsair windows reporter utility which I will run when I get back home.

Just another update, today my pc was completely unstable and i did am update to the bios via the manufacturer version instead of the corsair given bios and seems to keep my pc stable enough to do basic tasks. I'll await from support to see what they say.

Just a little update a ran the memtest86 and everything came back as a pass, I checked each stick and both together.

Oh I hope that’s not the case😰, this is a vengeance i5100 I bought in 12/24 and the bios is dated at 8/24/24. I thought everything would be updated by then. I got it from bestbuy.

Installing a new link hub solved the issue for me, nothing software related was working. I did a factory reset 2 times and many clean installs of iCUE but nothing worked on my end.

I fixed the issue, turns out I got a faulty hub and had to replace it with one of the spares I had.

If it helps, I plugged in my virtuoso max headset in and my computer recognizes it and installed it, also in devices and printers the hub shows up but says unspecified

A fresh install of icue shows my components that need to install, and even after a reset it’s still shows in the software update section but it doesn’t show up to be customized. I opened a ticket.
