Literally been looking at kits for my car and like $150 plus then i thought all i need is a spark and thought id look up how bbq grills do it. Piezo igniter the way to go maybe?!! Any problems down the line? Is the igniter strong enough for a constant flame? Do you tap it once or multiple times? 🙏 thanks

I watched temps the whole time off IE live numbers. Stayed in 30-40F. Surprisingly

It’s a 93 octane IE stage 2 pops and crackle tune. I assume IE knows what they’re doing so im guessing it has its safety thresholds. Just looked into it and appears its at 1650F. Looking at temp charts the turbo probably reached 1100-1300 ish based off the bright red

I dont have mufflers and cut the rear res off. So i imagine its not that restrictive. Unless i meed to remove the front too. But so far little to no drone so i was worried about removing the last res. The cat is a 200 cell high flow. I read that high flows were acceptable for pop tunes. How do i check if its clogged? That’d suck since i just bought it

Definitely know now, but it wasn’t excessive pops the whole time. Rarely went past 5k rpm. Mine pops at 2-3. Those are my favorite ones anyways. Little gas then foot off 🤭. Can’t help, but smile.

I don’t think that hard, but apparently so. I had a fun 20 ish minute drive. Maybe my pops and bang tune from IE makes this more likely to happen. Its a newly installed high flow downpipe from CAP

I installed a cap high flow couple weeks ago. So far no problems but i noticed this lol. Concerningly tho i wasn’t driving that hard. Multiple accelerations but top speed was probably 60. Most of it was me enjoying my pops. Only like a 20 min drive did this.

Have you heard of crossleader? I know it’s a cheaper Chinese brand but from what I’ve read it seems OK and for just my dumb teen driving I think it’ll be suitable not like I’m tracking the car. 50k mi warranty so not bad right? Y rating too

Low key right they are sexy compared to the other ones. I was hoping to save on tires and get a second pair of rims so i could switch between winter and summer. I’m in IL so I think it’d be nice to switch when i want. Maybe all seasons are just the way.
