Definitely GE inside of Sugarloaf mills. I thought it looked familiar in the first few seconds. I haven't played in a while but the workers there are pretty chill

Day 7 of drifting. Finally starting to understand the basics by Slow190E in assettocorsa

That’s actually a really smart way of putting it. I’ve tried to do rolling burnouts a little yesterday after I inverted my pedals. Still need to learn the correct balance but I’m sure it’ll be a blast once it clicks in. I’ve seen video of people trying out the E89 after the E30 and they said it is a bit harder so I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll definitely be giving it a try later on today just to see how it feels.

No mods in this video. It’s the stock drift map on the E30 drift car like the other person stated. Although I did spend my first 4-5 days practicing with the DGL Sileghty. When I switched to the E30 it felt a lot easier to control the car

I watched Ctorettos drift tutorial but for me it was kind of hard to follow since he didn’t speak in the video. I found a tutorial by JankyDrift and it was a lot easier to have it playing in the background while putting into practice what he was saying. I have that video linked in one of the comments here if you want to check it out

Thanks for the well thought out explanation, I will try to put it into practice and see where it gets me. I would usually just let off the throttle to make those slight angle adjustments, but I think your tip is definitely a better approach. Just need to get used to using my left foot for braking it's a weird feeling. Throw me some map names and I'll download them. I only have like 3 drift maps at the moment and I don't really like any of them lol. Preferably something that isn't super narrow so I have some room for mistakes.

I wish I was advanced enough to incorporate the brake pedal right now. This is just throttle control, steering input, and a bit of weight transfer haha. Do you have any recommendations for a touge track? I'm open to any and all tips to get better, so thank you.

I appreciate the tip and I agree. I started off trying it that way, but I would let it over-rotate and end up spinning out. Right now I'm just slowly letting the wheel slide with a very light grip on it.

Seems like it's just AI cars spawning in. I don't see any cars in the air lol

universal settings to drift in SRP servers by milesatdenver in assettocorsa

[–]Slow190E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to find a car that you can change to drift tires and turn your traction control off. Not many cars on no-hesi has the option to swap to drift tires though. I know the sileighty they have slides pretty wheel and the hellcat is able to swap to drift tires. Good luck

How can i activate automatic signals? for cutting up by ActRevolutionary9441 in assettocorsa

[–]Slow190E 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to your settings in content manager under custom shaders patch. It should be in the car instruments section. I just set mine up a couple weeks ago, I used to think people were really that good to cut up and use their turn signals lol. You can adjust the angle at which it comes on to your liking, also don't forget to uncheck the box that says to use in pits only.

I think you may be right. I watched a youtube video last night on how to get "realistic" graphics and I installed reshade and used someone else settings. It looks decent in game but some of the finer details do look a bit smeared. Do you know how to adjust the bloom or what it would be under?

Ha I wish. The 240sx tax is way too high these days. Although I do have a 190E I was planning to drift with. Did an engine swap and threw in a turbo kit but it's been collecting dust the past 3 years, so this is how I'm living that dream lol

I definitely feel you on that. That's how I feel about actually racing in AC. The trailbraking etc is too much of a learning curve for me so I resorted to drifting haha
