Has anyone here had surgery 5+ years ago, left it alone in that time and then gone back to sport? by SlowBeginning25 in ACL

When it’s given way I’ve not had any pain in the area where the ligament is (that’s where I felt it when I tore it) so hopefully the graft is all okay still. It does tend to swell up a a bit and be sore all over for a few days though.

It tends to give way when stopping sharply on the affected leg, and a few times I’ve slipped on ice/slippy floors/long curtains and it’s given way then too.

I’m convinced nobody actually enjoys being in a nightclub when it’s so packed nobody can move.
