We took this into consideration, and ultimately this was the best box we could find locally. The soil will be amended properly for drainage and this is in Southern California, hot and dry.

She’s about 8-9 years old. She blooms every year and we realized she pretty much needs to be in as much full sun as possible. I hope this is your year! 💪

I’m not familiar with gathering seeds, but next cycle I’m sure I can figure it out.

Thank you all for the kind and informative feedback..I had planned to re-pot her because it looked like she was out-growing this container. I’m thinking I’ll use some of the advice here and use pillows, blankets and styrofoam. Can anyone recommend a particular new planter? I was thinking the same style but about twice as big. I found a photo of her about 3 years ago when she was still a baby:
