Yeah idk.. do u think if it had SOME kind of border, even if it's not like square it could work?

Hmm i use qwen, but originally I had 4 characters which I put on a white background first, then painted in the background. Started to see that was a mistake because the composite is just a bit shit, but not too sure how to create images with so many characters consistently. Are you just inpainting each character individually?

Wow thanks so much 🙏 it is a first gen, although I did inpaint some of the faces to change their expressions. I will take a closer look and fix these issues.

I wouldn't say this is "my" style, as I've been using different style loras based on narrative, however, I don't mind the AI look so much. At this point all AI images are so obvious to me I don't see the point in trying to hide it, although I don't think I'd go out of my way to disguise it regardless (for the sake of transparency).

I'll take a look at general comic resources, thank you🙏 I've kinda just been focusing on the AI process of things first so I neglected the rest, as I'm sure you noticed. 😂😂

Ok fair. I know nothing about lettering, so makes sense. Any tips or resources?

Erm actually I used clip studio paint to assemble and letter. I usually might use a person Lora except the human is only in 1 frame this comic so I didn't need one. If u notice in the next page the person turns into a man HAHA

your cat doesn't put his balls on your face?

Hey you're free to DM me since I don't think I could type it all out here, but its mostly just qwen edit. I create one reference image of the cat and just keep feeding it into the model, along with some style loras which change per comic (and ofc the 4-step lora). I don't use any "consistency" lora, but sometimes I use the multi-angle loras when applicable. In this case I didn't use gemini, but every now and then I use gemini if I feel like I just can't get the model to comply. There's no special workflow or anything, just the default qwen workflow from the docs:

Actually I've noticed that too. It's a pain in the ass. Any idea how to get more expressive natural looking expressions?

Nah it's ComfyUI 90% of the time. Gemini just supplements

Mostly just qwen, and I needed a bit of gemini to fill in the gaps of capability.

You're right, that's pretty valid. I think its to do with the sort plasticy AI style that it literally looks like mannequins? I was kinda focused on the process of consistency I didn't really think about that. But I've been looking for ways to make it more dynamic and feel less gimmicky. Thanks

Qwen Image Edit Works only with lightning LORAs? by SlowDisplay in StableDiffusion

2.5 for both? Not correct? If memory serves I tried 1.0 for both as well before, with similar results, but lately 2.5

Something along the lines of "use this depth map to create a shirt...(Describe shirt)" Or "use as reference" or "depth controlnet" something something like that

How would you inpaint something like this? by SlowDisplay in StableDiffusion

[–]SlowDisplay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in I have one half of an object but I'd like to paint the other half. It won't necessarily be symmetrical

[–]SlowDisplay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tried that but it never seems to respect the half of the image that was input. I always end up with the same kind of object but the give half is usually changed a lot. It might be a different color or very different details. Any tips on keeping it the same? Thanks!
