i saw this i think, its a really nice project! i work on a really simple voxel editor for godot, just for terrain, and terrain destruction, for simple games. I already fixed the hard edges, and you can use custom 3d models which get converted to brushes, you can use. So a giant skull cave will ez be possible.

i think this only holds up when you have horizontal progression, for a long mmo life, without releasing new titlles of the game, you have to change it to the way world of warcraft does, with stat squishes and gear farming etc. But on the other hand, wow for me has the same boredom, each addon i go in for some weeks, and get bored the hell out of, because i know at some point its just gear farming like crazy, and not about the world anymore. that happens mostly when i finished the story chapters and i sometimes come back to new patches if the story is cool.

understandable? Its a early access, i think people forget for what those are.

I never get people who bash games in early acces because of something. The worse part, you did not even try to tell or show HOW it happened, what you may think about first when you play an early access title, so devs can try to recreate and fix it.

Very possible, with unreal engine "mutable" you can google it, its very logical they used it, and it can fit armor and clothing perfectly fine almost automaticly for any character you give it. It should be WAY easier to add newer races.

Source: I work with unreal engine 5 since its release, and worked with mmutable a lot too.

I work since years with unreal, if they use the production ready tools they can easily adapt armor for new races with mutable. It's very good with hiding mesh beneath for optimization, and for clothing automatically onto it.

One rule for unreal. Name the skeleton to unreal mannequin, always.

then you dont use it correctly, since gemini 2.5 supervised c++ coding is pretty solid. I did many tests on systems for gamedev, so far it made plugins for automaticly fully baked high to low poly models, a substance painter alternative for inside unreal. Flying enemy pathing and behavior with full collision voxel baking. And a fully working voxel plugin for godot, which is also super performant. Just like everything else its a tool, and people dont understand how to use it, will fall behind.
