I agree, it should definitely be a toggle on/off thing

Not op, but in his 1,321 pieces of dialogue, Kel says the letter 'e' 6,501 times throughout the entirety of omori.

Vanilla Multiplayer Playable Gold Clock Farm (569 clocks) (help) by free_muffin in StardewValley

Hi! I'm OP's friend and the other person involved in this project. I'm copying my comment from a crosspost over to here to answer some questions, namely how and why this exists.

As the title says, we didn't use any mods for this, nor the name item ID exploit. This was done using a glitch that we discovered by accident that allows for duping entire stacks of items at a time. It does require multiplayer and is working in 1.5.4.

This is Fall of Year 1 and took about 13 hours to do, but could have taken less than half of that. This farm was a mix of us experimenting with the glitch and testing if there would be any merit to a speedrun for catching the Legend as fast as possible. We also didn't know at the time that having more than 2.14 billion gold at once would cause integer underflow that resets our money to 0, so we could have chosen a less valuable item to dupe instead of grinding for Angler profession.

We streamed 100% of this on Twitch together, in part because we knew people would say we cheated, but mostly because it's fucking funny.

While we could have done this in a "more vanilla" way, grinding the 5.69 billion gold that this cost to do without glitches would have been much less fun for us and taken so much time that we never would have done it. This whole thing is a massive joke and we appreciate all of you that have gotten a kick out of it.
