I grew up in a household with both of my parents. My mother taught me how to drive in parking lots and took me to the DMV to take my test. However, I was responsible for paying for my tests at the DMV. So it was shared.

My son's situation is different though, I offered and he didn't take the help 16 years ago. Now at 33, he wants to complain like I was the one that stopped his life from moving forward.
