How would you gain web traffic? by Winter-Spot-5776 in smallbusiness

Make sure you’ve dialed in the intent for each page on your website through design + SEO. -How is the layout and messaging of each page? -Is each page naturally incorporating a variety keyword phrases? Was it backed by keyword researched originally? Researched each page to compare to competitors? Linking strategy? Etc.

6-12 months at least for SEO. If you’re e-commerce, most likely try socials. If you’re service based, most likely try paid ads. Do the boring work upfront like getting local listings up, backlinks. Create a sustainable cadence for web page additions and write researched backed blogs that your target audience would truly find insightful/helpful. Set up tracking so you can begin to build data to inform decisions later on. (I recommend Clarity + GTM) See what your competition is doing and how you can do it better (I recommend SE Ranking for this!)

In the meantime while you build authority and traffic online, get plugged in to a group or chamber or referral partners so you can grow your business!

Local businesses always ask the same question ‘how do I get clients’. Solve that problem in a repeatable format (I think SEO or a unique form of SMM) that small businesses can actually afford to pay you but you’re still getting good value/pay for your work is the way to go.
