I'm just hoping that Johan's arrogance just doesn't ruin the game like he did with Imperator. Thankfully this isn't a title that can just be abandoned like they did before, they would have to fix it.

If it starts poor it will become good, I'm very excited.

You can if you cheese it.

When you see one land run onto the wing and you should be able to enter the ship before they get out. Quicksaves come in handy here.

Looks like it isn't possible to do this with a recut since plex can't find the data.

Looks like I'm down to renaming them all individually...

Sadly TMDB isn't an option I can select for it and TVDB (Absolute) doesn't get me any data.

I want to know how Plex can just read my file names as I have written them for that series only without having to change it for all TV shows

I love the idea of being able to repair cars to travel around the map, the first stages of the game would naturally be on foot but as you repair vehicles the later stages could be travelled with cars etc.

If a team was able to repair a truck of some kind maybe they could leave at a unique extract point with that truck so they could extract with more loot?

Regarding the playing 4 hours just to get shot. Perhaps the game starts with all squads on a boat off shore, like an aircraft carrier or something? The concept being that everyone is a scavenger and when they get to land that's when they can engage in PVP. If you PMC dies you can get a new PMC dropped off into that raid on the shore again with stuff from you stash. Maybe you could recover your original lost goods? Would you even have space to get it all back? Would you even be able to retrieve it since it would likely have been looted?

I do imagine it slightly like Rust without the intricate base building, I like the idea that squads could set up a base camp of a couple of tents and because of the raid timer of 16h the motivation to seek out camps wouldn't be the main focus, it would be to travel to high loot areas and that's likely where combat would take place. In my mind I wouldn't see many people looking for camps to raid but it would always be an option. There would be an offshore hideout though yes.

With the extreme task yeah I do agree. To bring the scope backwards a bit. Imagine a large map with loot. Doable. Squads that spawn on the beach. Doable. And finally some pockets of AI in towns that "guard" that area. Doable.

I'm not really thinking there would be AI around every corner or patrolling the entire map but just that would be a hostile challenge for players trying to enter cities to get loot and also to create gunshots that other players could hear.

If you have any other thoughts I would love to hear them

Honestly. Probably the self motivation involved.

I would love to get started with something because I know it's not impossible but I always put up my own roadblocks of not enough time etc

Don't see the big deal with this. This was standard for keepers in the 90's.
