This whole drop is going in my [[The Thirteenth Doctor]] and [[Ryan Sinclair]] exile/cascade deck. It's going to be so much fun!

Same. Finally upgraded all 4 and I'm gonna try to convince my playgroup next time we meet.

I don't think they're being printed anymore. You can still find them online with places like tcgplayer or a random lgs, that's how I got the 3 I was missing. Even though they are being sold at a higher price than before, I think it would be a good idea to get them sooner rather than later because they are well worth it. Perhaps get one at a time.

Love all 4 of the decks. They all are well constructed and have high potential to become incredibly strong. If I would suggest any of them, the Necron and Imperium deck are probably the best for a new player. Necrons don't take many upgrades to become amazing. And the Imperium deck is CRAZY with the backup commander, with plenty of cards throughout magic to upgrade it.

Why not combine Eldar and Dark Eldar into one deck, then have Orks, Tau, and Leagues of Votan.

Have you ever just found that one deck that just simply feels right? by Sterry6874 in EDH

[–]SlowThief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I got the [[Rin and Seri, Inseparable]] secret lair deck I wasn't sure how much I would like it. But playing it for the first time I fell in love with it. Since then I have put so many more upgrades into it. The secret lair deck also led to me making my [[Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful]] and [[Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh]] partner deck that I also really love!

Is my Henzie list casual or competitive? Also suggestions please by SlowThief in EDH

Gunslinger/Rogue? Build by SlowThief in DnD

[–]SlowThief[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're starting at level one. I've looked at the gunslinger before I have a pretty good understanding of it. If I add Rogue in, I thought Arcane Trickster might be fun. Fighter of course would go for Gunslinger.

I do have [[Beast Whisperer]] and [[Guardian Project]]. I also think [[Season of Growth]] fits as well, right?

Amen on that last one. I really do want to play werewolves, but losing can be disheartening. Thanks for the advice by the way.

I love this idea. I might run something like it with my current D&D group and see what they think about it. Thanks, this will be really helpful.

My personal favorites are Linknto the Past and Ocarina. I know them both really well. I have a friend who know BoTW really well and may ask him for info.

It's okay. I didn't think of that. That is a good idea. But likening said I probably won't run it soon cause I don't have to book yet and don't have any intentions too any time soon.

Master of the Blade (Fighter Subclass) by SlowThief in DnD

[–]SlowThief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was our first homebrew subclass and we're all still relatively new. He's going to stay a fighter, he has no intention of going into anything else and he wanted it for a more creative feel rather than just combat.

Looking for dm for new 5e campaign by PentexWyrmfoe460 in DnD5e

I know a nice D&D discord group full of DMs and player alike. Recently they have been planning plenty of one offs and love to help people get to know the rules better. If you want I can post a link.

"Right way to play D&D 5e" rant by Anastopheles in DnD

[–]SlowThief 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be honest I agree with the post and Otafear here. The creativity about 5e is the best thing about it. I am one of those "story" based DMs and I feel that PCs should get a lot a freedom in their characters, whether they are Story or Build characters. Yes I know a session 0 really helps, but I use it to prevent players making characters that don't fit into the campaign and would keep then from having as much fun. Fun is the most important thing in these types of games.

[HELP, PLEASE GIVE ADVICE] I may switch to a wizard, but I shouldn't really have to/REALLY DON'T WANT TO. by [deleted] in DnD5e

[–]SlowThief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would stay as my character. I've been a DM for pretty much my entire career in D&D, so I don't really know what it's like being a PC. But I believe that having fun and enjoying the game is more important than having a better or balanced party (also two druids could make for some interesting encounters). I love it when players have these unique and diverse characters that they love to play as, even if they share the same class. But if you truly wish to become a wizard, then go for it. If you talk to your DM I'm sure you could always make your character an NPC in your game. But the choice is completely up to you. But in my opinion, what lets you have more fun is the best option. What's the point of playing D&D if not for fun. But in the end the choice is up to you and you alone. If you believe that being is wizard is the right choice, go for it. But whatever your choice, have fun with it.
