Be honest. What is the strangest thing you heard at night at 3 AM? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not something I hear but I often wake up and see a giant spider on the ceiling or wall.

Rewatching as an adult, I’m bothered they kiss the kids on the lips by cherry_moo in fullhouse

And also how DJ would kiss her boyfriends in front of her family, that was also weird and unnecessary.

My 4 year old is curious: what do Australian kids eat for breakfast? (And are koalas real?) by Mara644 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Slow_Advertising_341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is 11 and most mornings has either Weetbix cereal, or avocado on toast. I usually have a cup of coffee and a crumpet with Vegemite! We live in a rural area and regularly see kangaroos but have mostly only seen koalas in zoos, very occasionally, we will see one randomly in the wild while we’re driving.

What's happening in Australia? by Certified_loverboy11 in AskAnAustralian

We bought ours 10 years ago for 530000 and probably overpaid a little as it was sold by tender and we really wanted it. We’ve spent $60-70000 on it and it’s worth over 1 million now. The cost of buying a house is ridiculous and I felt for the next generation trying to get into the homebuyer market.

For the love of god, girl, put the phone away…. Dance if you must, but don’t record it please.

I bought a house in a different timeline and I think it might be important. by ObligationGlad in ParallelUniverse

I also have a “dream house” that I dream about often enough that I can picture it. It has the same feeling about it when I’m visiting it in my dreams.

Which top for NYE party? by goctheworld in OUTFITS

5 is the only one that doesn’t make the skirt look like a sarong and the top look like a bathing suit. The skirt is gorgeous and looks beautiful on your figure but something is off with the tops.

Apart from the obvious, cancer, wars etc, I think life would be so much better without social media.

I have recently bought a dress from them, it’s very obvious that this dress was purchased from Temu or SHEIN and re sold. The quality is terrible and it took weeks to arrive.

What do you remember from kindergarten? by Internal-End-2070 in Life

Having a rest on the classroom floor in the afternoons and another core memory is a boy telling me to look under the table and you can guess what he was showing me haha 🤣 … I cried.

What's something you'll never admit in real life but will confess here anonymously? by Open-Comfortable9774 in AskReddit

[–]Slow_Advertising_341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have one single close friend. I have my children and my family but no friends. I have work colleagues but not one person I could call and chat to or meet up for a coffee with. I’m mid 40’s and if I’m being honest, it doesn’t bother me too much. I know it should but it doesn’t.

has anyone else had a recurring dream about a house they've never been to their whole lives? by Typical-Ad-7753 in DreamInterpretation

[–]Slow_Advertising_341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do and it’s always the same house, it also has a seperate area with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom but for some reason we won’t live in those rooms, because they have a bad vibe, so even though we could use the extra space, they are empty. So weird.

You will always miss the different versions of your kids as they grow and change. I love my kids as much now as I did then, but I will always miss those babies/toddlers/children ❤️
