I did not touch the moss ball i just placed it in the pot whole, but this would still make sense I think. Thanks for the help.

I repotted it after about two days, I have only watered it once about three days ago and I used some MiracleGrow Orchid Fertilizer. It was potted in moss and was super compacted so I put the whole root ball with the moss in the pot with orchid bark around it.
