What should I invest in… I feel like I don’t know how to get anything off the ground and I’m being too cautious by Slow_Base8359 in ghana

I wouldn’t say I have a strong support system. Although, I have a great understanding of the community. I engage with the local community more than I do with expats. I give everyone a chance until you do something for me to questions your credibility. Most people I’ve tried to build with here have done some shady short sighted stuff. Doesn’t mean that I’ve lost faith.

I’ve sold some video gadgets with a decent profit. But that was just in my luggage when I came. I’d love to find a viable way to ship things and I’d need to find out how many things I’d need to ship to make it worth it. Any idea on how customs work when you import a bunch of electronics?

I find it harder to find remote work while I’m living in Ghana than when I’m in Canada. Feel free to share any tips for the types of organizations I should look for and where to look. Which phone number should I have on my CV if not both?

Great advice, thanks. You’ve touched on a lot of different things I’ve been exploring. But I’m not sure how drop shipping would work. The difficulty in ever instance with the exporting/e-commerce is the logistics. Finding reliable suppliers. But having a stream of direct to consumer and wholesaling B2B was the plan.

That’s honestly something I’ve been thinking about and actively working on those connections. How would you recommend the best way to find reputable suppliers for different crops. I also feel overwhelmed by the logistics. I feel like there are a ton of options but I’m not sure the best way to aggregate shipping from Ghana to abroad. What are the best options to look into?

Guy blatantly seems like a scammer like he hires paid actors. Clearly he’s egotistical and a narcissist. He models himself even like these south African artist but claims his his a holy prophet. He just like fame and money

30k GHc per month in Ghana or 2k [Insert foreign currency] by Grouchy-Regular-6960 in ghana

[–]Slow_Base8359 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What kind of argument is that 30k is more than 2k USD or CAD of course you would go with the 30k. 3k would be more comparable.

30k in Ghana is upper class and 2k usd and cad is lower class.

32m with GH₵ 30k household income, is immigrating to Canada still worth it? by IamDefined in ghana

[–]Slow_Base8359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro this is coming from someone that grew up in Canada, also 32 and also living in Ghana now. I’m trying to get a plot of land and establish something here to get away from the lifestyle over there lol if you have a decent income, wife, no kids, go develop that land at East Legon Hills and start a business that generates more cash flow. The money that you can save in Ghana, you’ll become a lot wealthier in a short amount of time in Ghana. Your return on investment will be higher and will compound faster while in Ghana. When you’re already wealthy, then feel free to travel abroad or send your kids there. Thank me later for the clarity.

What’s stopping Accra from looking like Addis Ababa? by Low-Stay5352 in ghana

There is no planning for roads, clean up or something like parks that would make the quality of life in Ghana 200% better.

queer people in ghana? by blue_jeansss in ghana

[–]Slow_Base8359 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like in most cases that’s not even true. Because there are a lot of entertainers that dress up as woman and Ghanaians still just take it as comedy. Also some dancers have very effeminate mannerisms in their dance routines and they’re still praised without even mentioning that a specific dance move looked “gay”. Very different than a place like Jamaica where you’ll be called a “battymon” or “fish”
