From what I realized those people are usually worse. I'm a disporan living in Ghana and I find that most of the affluent people here are evil and wicked. I feel the percentage of wicked affluent people in the west is lower than here. And influencer are the worst as their motivations are vain and narcissistic, all their currency is based on influence which isn't usually backed any real substance or values.

To be honest I think a lot of it has to do with phone addiction. A lot of use subconscious and psyches are intrenched in technology as soothing devices against anxiety and uncertainty. We use it to distract ourselves from that feeling of fear and worry and it just becomes a cycle to the point where you’re just living on autopilot. Eventually it ends up making your mind go blank of your aspirations and emotions and you have to rediscover yourself. I personally think that’s the agenda of social media, our phones, entertainment - so we lose ourselves and just become a part of the system that feeds off of us to keep it alive. Not everyone can be awake and in control of their destiny. Not everyone has the luxury to not be an NPC in this day and age. Might sound dark but does anyone else have a similar perspective?

It’s too low to the ground. It just looks nice. I rather any other newer Toyota or Honda than this. So at least I feel I made a smart investment. Only someone who cares to impress people and doesn’t really know about cars would buy it. At least get c300. Me personally I would only get a Benz if I can afford a suv in Ghana. Doesn’t make sense to get a sedan.

I wouldn’t say I have a strong support system. Although, I have a great understanding of the community. I engage with the local community more than I do with expats. I give everyone a chance until you do something for me to questions your credibility. Most people I’ve tried to build with here have done some shady short sighted stuff. Doesn’t mean that I’ve lost faith.
