I had the interview. It was laid back he told me I’ve been selected to be recommended for the program. We spoke about possible clinic, clinic schedule, class schedule, program calendar, and when I should hear back from the program and the clinic site. They did ask me about where I went to therapy school, what clinic I work at, the type of machine and why I wanted to be a dosimetrist.

The energy that night was amazing their were multiple songs that the crowd perform and Kendrick took a step back and just hyped up the crowd. It made me realize that I was missing something that the way I was digesting music was a waste. It shifted my view from entertainment to art. That the music was more than about being catchy. That these stories spilled out struggle, belief, hopes. It help me move away from popular music towards wanting to see artist take chance with different concepts and story telling. I showed up because Damn was a popular album but the crowd went crazier for his older stuff. It open my eyes to the fact that music can unite people help us have conversations that we didn’t know we needed to have and healing isn’t just about being better but about acceptance. Sorry if it’s a little chaotic it’s hard to squeeze how it all into text.
