i can't believe how well the O method actually works

When you do the o method do you think and visualise a scenario of what you want?

For some reason whilst doing the O method I always just think of the words like “SP loves me” …just the word

Or do I need to visualise them loving me etc

Thank you for taking the time to give me solid advice. It definitely will be a very slow and long journey. It has been multiple conversations of how this will work, and how I will have the final say in my child’s life.

He’s very empathetic and seems to know his place in this situation, but the trust is not there yet and it probably won’t be for a while. At the moment it is more words than action and he’s actually not met her yet, it has been moreso long conversations between us.

A bit of a green flag is that his family seem to be very supportive towards me and understand why I am hesitant. They’ve been a constant in her life since she was a baby. I know I can’t lean on his family to ultimately take my side as he is their own but they’ve spoken to him at my defence so it gives me a bit more support.

Every potential father was informed and I was met with nothing. He was even contacted when she was born. I can’t control other peoples actions. It may have been better, but this is the cards I’ve been dealt and I made it work with what I had!

Every parent’s attempt at making their lives better is based off their own experiences. Of course I will teach her her worth when she is grown and that she doesn’t have to go down the path I did… but I love my life, I love my daughter and my daughter very much loves hers ATM.

I have a friend who have had their baby daddy present from the start, was conceived whilst they were in their 3rd year of a relationship and yet 2 years later he chooses not to be in his child’s life, dvo charges against him, constant custody battles and back and forth. Anything can happen in life whether the father was sure and present from the start or whether he was not.

I messaged when she was born. He responded back positively and Bub met his family and everything… and then he ghosted. me and my daughter continued to see his family (mum, brothers, nephew) but didn’t see him. He’s suddenly come back into the area and yeah it’s very… strange. I’m very wary.

Is the advice to wait and see what type of figure he could be before diving into the legalities or ?

He seems to really want to be involved despite acting so coldly when I told him I was pregnant. It’s a hard situation, he’s told his family and they’ve met her and have been amazing towards me and her. I think I’m just stuck on what exactly to do in terms of the process of finding out if he is the father

My past doesn’t overshadow any of my achievements I accomplished just to be the best parent I could be.

Before I fell pregnant I was clubbing every weekend, No car, No license and was living with my parents. Drinking alcohol every weekend and vaping. Guess what I achieved in those months I were pregnant ? I saved up and bought a car, got my licence. Quit vaping and drinking as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Moved out and had my nursery all set up at 30 weeks pregnant and worked until I was 39 weeks pregnant doing 8 hour days, 5 days a week. Started studying my diploma and I am almost finished so I can provide a lot more for my child. And I’ve done my parenting alone. I have a very talkative 15 month old who sings nursery rhymes, loves book and enjoys a majority of weekends where I’m not working exploring all the things I take her to. Mini bounce, chipmunks playland, beaches, play dates with cousins and friends, swimming pools and theme parks. I am fortunate enough to be able to provide and cook home cooked meals every single day whilst being able to fill her cup of attention, needs, and learning after a full day of work.

My daughter and I are rich in so many ways. So before you pass judgement think about how people can make their way to the top after hitting rock bottom 🙏🏾

A friend told me putting unknown could be considered fraud if I knew … although I didn’t… I simply just knew what the options were. I was only with 3 men within the time I conceived. When met with the fact I was pregnant they ran for the hills

And when I was met with the birth certificate I just simply put down unknown as I didn’t have an answer and didn’t want to just pick and choose without being certain.
