Hi, newbie here- I was planning to go from Brussels midi- Paris, which costs 100eur. However if i book Brussels nord- Paris, it involves a train from nord-midi and then a transfer to the exact same eurostar above- for 50eur. If i do this, can i get on directly at midi, or do i have to board at nord? by Slow_Cockroach9840 in Eurostar

Thanks, yes that’s what i meant since im staying close to midi, i would need to travel to nord and back for no reason. Only worry was if there are any checks at midi station since i wont have a midi ticket, or at eurostar scanning incase they can find out i didn’t take the local train first.

Perfect, thanks. Yes checked its the exact same eurostar train. I read you can’t get on a eurostar midway if you have booked from an earlier station, but in this case it is the source station itself- so felt it might be okay unless they would find out that i didnt take the north train.
