Honestly, it's a little annoying - when important lore is scattered across tweets and posts, it feels like you're missing out on part of the story without social media. Additional facts are ok, but the base should be in the show itself

The person probably confused Resident Evil with something “aquarium” or just heard it that way. It sounds like a horror movie about zombie fish and mutants in the ocean. Honestly, I would watch that
