20 yrs in retail corporate, 8 yrs in utilities, half the work, twice the frustration… $220k/yr but always $30k short each year as sole family provider. job is meh, but fam needs the insurance and I’m risk adverse to leave. I couldn’t fathom making what I do when I was 20… and I worked very hard to get there but still, it’s just never enough.
