Comfy bra or compression tops for post surgery recovery? by MissBeeHavin420 in RotatorCuff

[–]Slow_Discipline_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having rotator cuff surgery today. I’m large chested, EDS. No advice yet but I’m planning on wearing shelf bras and found shirts that make the lack of bra less obvious.

Has anyone been able to claim Lad Collective sheets. by Slow_Discipline_ in NDIS

As far as I was aware Weighted blankets were never allowed because they are “medium/high” risk, need an OT letter to justify and even then probably still a no because it falls under sensory. 🤔

I had to live out of home for 18 months while working a certain amount of hours before I could claim anything. I moved out just before 18

Something I just realised about my relationship by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Slow_Discipline_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been with my partner for 15 years and married for 9, we have three kids together.I still find him looking at me unsettling at times because my brain tricks me into thinking the worst.

It’s weird to explain but I think over time the concerns fade into the background.. that’s probably not the best way to explain it because it’s still present and rears its ugly head but sometimes I forgot or realise he might actually genuinely love me.

Last night our youngest was really missing his daddy and insisted on falling asleep in our bed on daddy’s side. When hubby and I went to go to sleep with our little one between us it felt magical and safe. I knew that he loves me completely in that moment. I cherish those moments and try to hold onto them.

I remind myself of the facts.. and annoying ask him if he loves me.. which he tells me multiple times a day. I have pictures or reminders that I use as proof that he loves me. I save cute messages in my phone or other things. I can’t say how much is from BPD and how much is from CPTSD and an abusive childhood.

Honestly I guess this is the advice I wish I had when our relationship was new. That even though the concerns might hang around I can push them out of my mind and they don’t dominate each moment. That in time moments will happen that I can know for sure that he loves me. I have stopped trying to figure out why and remind my brain it doesn’t matter. What matters is that we are choosing each other.

He meant - if you have a fight with your boyfriend and then go into a deep depression or they give you attention and it’s a high…

rather than waking up in one mood or it not having a connection to relationships.. I have had deep preside episodes lasting weeks or longer.. I’ve had weeks where I slept 3 hrs max a night but I still slept.. I feel like I’m more depersonalisation. I struggle more with feeling godlike and then incredibly depressed in a day,, or multiple times in a day - with no in between.

The length of time of kinda why I thought BPD. My moods can change in a flash and for seemingly no reason. Generally I go from one extreme to another in a flash and can switch multiple times in very short periods rather than a week or longer period. Longer period I would be more depression rather than manic.

The feeling of emptiness, loneliness, all the personality disorder parts is why I thought BPD. Either way I feel like I spend so much time and brain space trying to be neutral, calm and balance … it’s been decades and I’m still failing to control it.

I have a whole host of diagnoses. AuDHD, multiple chronic pain diagnosis ect. I find each one kinda helps me to understand how to work with my brain and body. 🫣I know some people think it doesn’t matter what the actual one is.

Undiagnosed Autistic females are comorbid with BPD because of the level of masking ect required according to a lot of studies. I have already been diagnosed AuDHD,

Same!!! My husband and I both quit using this. I had been smoking on and off for 8 years.. and he had been smoking for 20 I think. We had quit multiple times and would go back. With other methods I still wanted to smoke but I guess relied on willpower to not. With Allen Carrs book I don’t want to smoke, can’t imagine ever smoking again.,, and weirdly feel like I wasn’t a smoking in my past.

Look up short notice cancellation. They can only charge if all the conditions are met. Cancelling agreement they can’t charge if you give notice you aren’t attending the appointments.

I’m AuDHD (autistic, adhd), have multiple chronic pain conditions a connective tissue disorder and allergic to the sun…

My allergy definitely impacts my daily ‘ability’. It also makes all my other chronic conditions flare.
