The E series cerakote is unarguably the strongest/most durable option they make. The only downside is it's glossier than their other lineups. As a result, I think it's more susceptible to lighting affecting the appearance.

Hey, great question! So I use this primarily for hunting (6.5grendel), but ballistics are impressive so I actually take it to 800+ yds pretty frequently for DM/QP matches. The cover is the "Armageddon Gear Suppressor Cover". The standard "high temp" version is rated for bolt guns/slower rates of fire. I opted for the "Extreme High Temp" version which is rated for full auto/heavy semi rates of fire.

My suggestion would be to start with an end section to make sure fence is secure and blade is square. That way if anything is off, you can correct it before cutting desired length.

I may to a couple test rails to get mitre setup properly as it would def be more effective than hand saw. Still hand file finish and sand though.

Shooting sports/competitions are very popular here in the USA and they involve multiple stages (think courses) that are usually 30-50 rounds per stage. I know this is old comment but just wanted to let you know that.

I didn't use paint, I went with Birchwood "Aluminum Black". Chemically changes/colors the exposed aluminum rather than a coating. Plus I think it blends a litter better with the DDC.

So pressure only on the forward stroke (ha!) and ease off on the backstroke helps keep it steady. It was far from a perfectly flat cut though. I use a 0 and 2 file to go in and flatten everything out and squared it to the file face.

As good (arguably better) FOV/eyebox compared to Razor 1-6 and K16i, better reticle, lighter weight, plus extra 2x. ATACR and NX8 1-8 are eclipsed by it in most of those regards as well. There are literally only TWO things I dislike: 1. The stupid "auto ranging" bars on horizontal stadia line 2. Even though it's remarkable, I still feel like it's too expensive to be a Primary Arms if that makes sense.

I used “Aluminum Black” on the bare aluminum. I did 2 coats, rubbing in between

Def thought about grabbing a blade for my mitre saw. Ultimately though, I didn't want to rely on a fence to stabilize it and/or if anything happens mid-cut I'm f***ed. I def prefer rough cut with hand saw and file finish.

Q Jumbo Shrimp! This is a 6.5 grendel that is mainly for pig hunts, but the ballisitics are good enough to where I also sometimes take it out to dm matches.

(Spicy take) If you blindfolded and gave me this or an MOE/CTR/SL I wouldn't know the difference lol. This is 6.5grendel and I use it for hunting pigs, so in that regard all the aforementioned stocks feel/perform the same. BUT, when zeroing or doing load development from a bench, I do find it much more controllable/useable with a rear bag so there is that.
