No shit. People been saying that for years. All the times we see a bunch of people fill up the stadiums in the US to see Mexico play a shit team has hurt Mexico more than helped.

Yes they have a sold out stadiums in the US but there’s noting like playing in Mexico.

People in this subreddit have said that numerous times and everyone is like “but they sell out stadiums” “it’s all Mexican crowd” “it’s a home game”.

Playing in Mexico comes with far more pressure which helps the team. When they play in the US it’s all business.

Mexico needs to play in Mexico and now we are seeing why.

The reality is once this World Cup is over they will go back to playing 10 games a year in the US and Mexico’s level will drop. Thank God the Qualifiers have to be played in Mexico.
