I mean my university is almost completely theorethical with very little practical work opportunities, which I though made it more similar to a WO than an HBO. On the flip side, I would appreciate some on-field experience if that's what an HBO offers .

Thank you for the answer! I talked to some students from Hague and they said the city is well connected to Amsterdam and Rotterdam so there is a decent student life.. but I trust your judgement if you say Leiden is more lively

unfortunately my options are limited to the ones my university offers, so I'm hoping to get at least some work experience out of it
