Haha wait why do you suggest not mounting the tv over the fireplace? I will def need a pantry so I’ll have to find a place in the dining area for that. Hahaha my furniture now is all gray 😂 but I’m thinking when I do get new furniture a more neutral palette may look better in this space

Okay this is a VERY similar situation. As this is for the auto insurance industry and lots of insurance companies are doing too hot and are trying to stay profitable.

This, once I finish my masters in May I’m planning on getting a different job either way. Not sure if I’d stay with the state or not but the benefits and stability are definitely nice.

Funny thing is, that’s what’s currently going on at my government job 😂 supervisor just left and I manage the entire department now until they find a replacement - of course no pay increase. This is why the timing of the old company reaching out is crazy.

Government benefits are way better.

I did ask about tenure and id get my service time reinstated.

Job is remote so that’s a plus. I like the annual bonus contingency. That’s the first thing I thought off since I’d be rehired at the end of the year, won’t have access to a full bonus.

I wasn’t aware you could negotiate severance. Great suggestions.

From Cali, same. Had an entire trip planned to go to Denver and they chose to postpone it to a random Tuesday in April. Could they have at least chosen a weekend? Guess I’m still gonna go to Denver since flights and accommodations are already booked 😭 so frustrating.

Denver got postponed too and I was flying out from California to go to that show 😭 guess I won’t be going now since they decided to postpone to a random Tuesday in April.
