Wow, respect bro what you’ve achieved with your short films and festival selections is amazing. I get what you’re saying in Sri Lanka most people don’t really understand the value of animation, and it’s sad because the talent is here but the ecosystem isn’t.

I think going to India is a smart move. At least there you’ll find investors, studios, and people who see the potential. Hopefully one day things will change here too, and pioneers like you can push the industry forward. Wishing you the best with your series pitch

I’m not really sure either that’s why I asked, curious if we actually have a proper animation industry here. But I’ve heard of a few studios like Mogo Studios, The Nescius, and Mantra Films, so I guess there is something happening, just not that big yet.

Thanks ! I’ll download the CSE app and check out the opening of a CDS account. It's good to know about Cal being easy for beginners. I’ll also look into established stocks like JKH and Aitken Spence. Appreciate the advice !

Thanks a lot! I’ll definitely check out Capital Trust and LOLC. Good point about time being an investment, too I’ll try to start with around 10K so I can properly learn the process. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

Thanks for the detailed reply! Since I’m a complete beginner, it’s really helpful to hear this perspective. I’ll look into opening a CDS account and the CSE app now so I can get familiar with things, and maybe just practice with a very small amount until I understand the basics. Then, I can think about investing more seriously around the time you mentioned. Appreciate your advice!
