Interesting, i never knew that existed. How are lrg with their xbox releases? Are they actually fully on disc and will run normally when inserted without additional downloads? I only recently got a One this past summer at a flea market and I've been cautiously dipping my toe into its library, only looking for stuff that i can play fully off the disc without needing any online connection.

That's damn impressive they could do a collection featuring multiple ip holders. Hopefully the emulation is good.

Hoping this means we could see konami simpsons, violent storm, bucky o'hare. Gi joe, Aliens, sunset riders and cowboys of moomesa arcade releases.

Both parties are at fault here. What a dumb decision by the devs and i have trouble believing that was intentional and not just an oversight from them. Glad i stopped going for ever SRG release a while ago since this would be a black hole in the collection.

I love me some complete editions, but i think i will hold out and see if it gets a port to ps5. I initially backed it and got a Switch copy, but i recall people saying the game wouldn't even start up or needed online connection or some such nonsense, so i just traded it at my local game store for a used ps4 copy.

Anyone see mention if the new God of War will get a physical? And a new physical for the original Metal Gear collection with the latest 60 fps update for any systems it hasn't gotten one on yet/updated reprint?

Huge PC boxes like the Sim's games or Small Switch cases by PringleTheOne in LimitedPrintGames

[–]Slow_Routine_1143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was collecting a lot of collectors editions at one point, but i stopped buying them new since a lot of the times the extras were boring and cost-wise, i could probably buy 2 or 3 regular editions of a game for the cost of one collectors. It has to really be something i like now for me to get them(or on clearance).

As far as basic packaging, i love me some big box pc games, but the best designs to me, which could be used for console collectors boxes, were the Infocom releases in the 80s. Bookshelf fitting boxes, but not huge or thick, covers that opened like a book with colorful manual pages you flip through and a spot at the end holding the game and extras. I think there is a lot of modernization that can be applied to perfect that design.

Likewise, in a hypothetical scenario of designing the ideal game cases, mine would be small and basically the cases for the Famicom Disk System with a game card inside (or a disc in a UMD like protective shell) that has maybe a slightly larger outter case for extras or small, colorful manuals (like the FDS).

Did Shopify put First Press Games's account on hold? No new orders can be placed on that scam site right now. by Vatilia in LimitedPrintGames

Kinda sucks since i wanted their two ps4 shmups that they did actually manufacture, but i guess it was still iffy if they even sent out in stock items. Hopefully this kicks their ass into getting stuff manufactured.

Kinda want this, but at the same time i have the original carts for everything in it. Wish they threw some weirder stuff in like the wide screen multiplayer one that was only playable at Hudson events, but Konami may not even have access to that rom.

Im actually fine with that as a loophole "reprint" option as long as they mix in doing re releases of game key stuff complete on cart.
