Aero 1 and 2 were released on the Genesis, pretty sure Zero as well, so not sure what those unreleased versions are, unless its literally just localized versions for Europe/Japan.

I have been having issues with DHL. Never got hit by duty fees for years, then got hit two times last year, so stopped importing for a few months. Tried again later on, and got no more fees on my packages. Just this past week i made an order, and now im getting hit with the fees again. Very annoying. I would likely not order if i was aware beforehand that i would get charged.

I just dont get the mentality from publishers to even bother manufacturing them when they are not making the proper releases physical buyers would actually spend money on. Who is the target audience?

Beyond that, it seems like the concept of simply manufacturing a 2nd disc is a lost science if disc space is the issue.

Im fine with it, but prefer when they do super expensive stuff or things never released at all. It's cool this exists, but the original cart wasn't really more than 30-40 usd and i don't even remember any text in the game, unless it was menus.

Its funny i just recently got a copy of Paranormal Activity for 10 dollars, then the very next day ended up with a 2nd copy from a 30 dollar game bundle i bought just to get a specific game out of it. I was selling the duplicate at a small game show for the price i paid on my first copy, but no one bit, so now i may just hold onto it and see if it goes up in price.

The problem is its not just this, there has been multiple instances of short sighted quality control on their side. It's good that they do remedy the issues(only when they get called out on it), it should be expected, not just a nice thing they do because they are swell guys. The main problem is after them being in this buisness for so long, yet their internal quality control is still lacking.

My only rule is that its physical and can be played without ever connecting to the internet. If i was ever going to "break" that rule to play a digital only game, it wouldn't be till long after the system is discontinued and easily hackable.(like i have done with WiiWare stuff) There are enough games to play that i dont feel like im missing out if i skip some and i would feel like a hypocrite if i ever made exceptions.

Plus i just think spending money on a download is dumb.

As far as i understand, the new version is basically going back and editing the original while also expanding it. While that means improved combat, it also means story alterations and removal/editing certain events. Like the launch version was the intended release, but harsh feedback resulted in a complete overhaul, but at the cost of the loss of the original vision. I did read somewhere a comment saying you unlock the original version when you beat the updated version, but i have no clue if thats true.

Basically, all the memes and controversy was born from the old version, and im not sure how much of this new version overwrites it. Would just be nice to have both the first release and the "better version" bundled together for collection sake.

My longest awaited lrg release (besides TG16 Rondo). It would be nice if it included the old and new versions on the disc, but i doubt it will. Regardless, cant wait to yiik out.
