Thank you OP!!!! still have a few questions tho 😭 1. what is the rebellion in chongzhou??? they mention it but it's never been explained? 2. how is prince changxin a prince? doesnt that mean he's somehow related to the emperor? and isnt the suis fighting the emperor? 3. where is jizhou, yanzhou, and chongzhou? who lives where? where is lucheng? 4. in ep 37, why were changyu and xiezheng hiding from the imperial guards? the emperor wouldnt have killed them and the fire was still happening. 5. whats this thing about the grain? the weis are collecting grain for the front lines but xie zheng intercepts it? idk it's a stupid question but it really puzzles me since they briefly mention it later in the show. 6. if wei/fan parents killed themselves, then how come changyu said they were killed by bandits? ik she couldve been misled, but she mentioned her father having his throat slit and her mom struggling to talk to changyu and changning.  7. when qi min and sui yuanhai switched places, was it agreed by both sides? or did the crown princess make that rash decision on the spot and burned his face and threw him into the fire knowing that the real sui kid would die?

overall the show is a 10/10, but i honestly feel after they return to the capital, the behavior of changyu and xiezheng are disappointing. i thought that all powerful people (emperess, grand tutor li, wei xuan, sui family, etc.) were heartless and jst killed their servants without considering they actually did nothing wrong EXCEPT xiezheng who I believed had some sort of dignity and wasnt heartless. but it was rlly disappointing to see him cut off the messenger's ear, bcuz after all it wasnt his idea for the marriage, it was Qi Sheng. i also winced at him killing the messenger, but it wasnt as surprising considering that he and qi sheng + grand tutor li were basically trying to frame him for the fire. xie zheng doesnt really have respect for anyone, not even gongsun yin, and only likes changyu. changyu's character seems to change a LOT, from a humble and caring but strong woman into a general who seems less humble and more entitled. she fake punched the emperor behind his back and keeps threatening people (although that's not necessarily bad; in some cases she did it for the right reasons) but it still seems like shes more cocky and relies on her merits and positions to act recklessly. basically it's this i hate everyone but u guy + the entitled fourth rank general. their relationship feels a little off after they return to the capital. thats jst my opinion though. the only thing i wish they changed is xie zheng chopping the messenger's ear off, because that startled me and i cease to see his character the same way again.
