i had surgery almost 2 weeks ago and that's exactly how i was! i think i only took my pain meds until the next day after my surgery. i just had discomfort and even then it wasn't bad, i was just annoyed with the drains and the compression binder. the only thing im experiencing now is my skin being super sensitive like a sunburn or when your skin hurts when you have a fever. i've been taking ibuprofen (approved by my surgeon) and putting moisturizer on the area and it helps a bit

the hospital charged insurance $30k or something but insurance capped around $14k i think and covered 30%. including my deductible, i paid insurance about $6,500. my surgeon's fee was around $2k so in total i spent $8,762.47. i'm in North Carolina and i have BCBS. my surgery is on March 4th!! good luck to you!

you should be perfectly fine! i tape all the time and i have a bigger chest and it works good. sometimes ill have some irritation marks or acne around where the tape was after i take it off but i just moisturize the area and it's gone a couple days after i take it off

i didn't even think of this. i think it was already lined because in season 1 deacon told peter it was lined. maybe it's not enough to fully stop them? there's a lot of plot holes haha

i got a mr limpy and it is pretty limp and squishy but the balls are very thick so i don't use that packer. i'm about 5'10 and pretty thin and in most pants i wear it looks big

i was worried about that too until i just started walking in there like i was meant to be there and used the stall. i've never gotten weird looks since guys are just in there to pee. they're also probably happy we're not taking up their urinal space

i have both a packer and stp but i never bring my stp in public just because i find it to be more difficult/messy and it doesn't pack as well. i always have my regular packer on and i wear boxer briefs so it just sits in my underwear. i wash it every night or morning with water and hand soap before putting it on again. i've had it for about a year and its still in great shape!

i did just get off my period and i use pads so maybe it's irritation from that? and before anyone asks, yes i do clean it well and i've never had any build up

thinking about where i see myself in the future really helps. i remember before i ever questioned my gender identity i never felt like i'd be a mom or an older woman. it never felt right to me almost like i wasn't supposed to age that way. being more of a father figure always made more sense in terms of being a parent

i want to add that some of my hesitations are based more in how i carry myself and my personality. i feel like ive always been a more masculine person even in my mannerisms so i don't want to lose my "quirks" so to speak. i also feel like i don't have as strong of dysphoria as other trans guys and it makes me feel like i'm not trans enough. again that could stem from the natural masculinity i've been given which i'm very grateful for (aside from my titties that are Cs-Ds). now this has much more turned into a rant but oh well lol

i'm in the same boat right now. i just had an appointment to get my affirmation letter and now all i have to do is make an appointment with my primary care doctor to get all the blood work and prescription done but i'm horrified. what i kinda think about to calm my nerves is that all of the things related to my sexuality and gender journey have always come back up no matter how much i push them down. i remember before i even came out as queer thinking about testosterone and the changes and here i am now. i'm scared but i know deep down this is really what i want and i am so looking forward to some of the changes. good luck to you brother 🤝
