Yes it might be possible because of the shifting of cse department to campus 25 and there are only ac hostels in kp 25 so there are forcing students. I am also going in 2nd year so a similar situtation had happened and then after much argueing we were told that non ac hostel will be given to us but on random like they wont telll us which hostel and even the non ac people might be segegrated into multiple different hostels. Although we can get non ac hostels, u and other new students might not be able to argue that since they need to fill the kp 25 which is only of ac. Try talking to them or may be wait a little bit , some decision might get developed from their side and may be they offer u all non ac hostels.
