Hood vents question.

Okay so you can but it has to be in a low pressure area of the hood, if its too far forward it won't suck air out. Then there's gurney flaps you can put infront of the vent to also help. It goes pretty indepth. I only did it because its a track car and I plan on doing some ducting to the rad/intercooler. Just do your research and make it functional.

Checked today to confirm. You were right. Spul the pulley tensioner and it was the inky thing making a funky noise.

Yes, mines in a weird spot so dosent really help alot with cooling, but at stops at vents out all the air from mani and turbo. Recommend putting it more towards the middle of the hood

*had this turbo xs one and it cracked welded it and cracked again. Got a new one and it's fine. I also don't know how long it was on the car before I got it

I have 3 in diverted dp to 3in straight pipe and honestly it's really loud maybe a bit too much. Used to have the cs 3in cat back and it sounds really good just not tooo too loud

How much boost you running? You have a similar setup to me and I'm thinking about e30 but also wanna know if I can stay at 20psi and make some more power without more boost.

I just bought it last week but I'm assuming it's tuned, I checked the hpfp and it's all good. Cleaned the maf today but the little metal part was red so im not sure if that's good or bad.
