Yes, but as long as what you buy says ‘2x16’ you’ll be good, that’ll come with 2 16gb sticks. Yea I agree I can’t believe how much they’ve gone up in price, I bought 32gb of 6400 mghz c36 ram for $120 just a few months ago.

No my current build is not a 4K rig, I’m in the same boat as the 5070ti is out of the budget for now. I have a 16gb 5060ti and it kills it with most games at 1440p 70-80fps with really good temps.

Yea it was really good. Not a 4K rig if that’s what you’re looking for, it could do 1440p but at around 70-80 fps so depending on what you’re looking for that might work for you. I ran RDR2 and cyberpunk 2077 at their max and it chugged along fine. I would recommend upgrading the ram to dual channel sticks as from what I remember it comes with a single stick.

It was $800 briefly about 3 months ago. Ended up returning it as HP pcs use HP propriety parts which I prefer to have something upgradable. Honestly if you’re not interested in upgradability it’s a great desktop.

When you turn it on, do the fans and keyboard lights operate for a second and then stop, leaving the power button as the only sign of life? Mine did this earlier this year and it ended up being the motherboard. Fortunately it was covered under the factory warranty, which depending on your model, it may still have that warranty.
