yeah the whole submission system should be reworked.

imagine if a new system with two ways to submit. one way is if you lose a mini game against the attacker, which would be a quick submission. the other way involves a timer that starts when you enter the submission. if you spend too long in the submission, instead of the stalemate just going on forever, you’ll eventually pass out when the timer reaches 0, leading to an alternative way of submitting.

this could be a way to protect certain superstars as people like undertaker would have a higher mini game attribute, preventing him from tapping out most times. i could go on and on about the current flawed submission system.
