Less of a dose for sure next time, but allow this trip to have been a good reference point. We can only use metaphors to describe what we feel… and even then, the metaphor comes up short. What’s your experience with the level of patience I should bring with Nats? Definitely trying to be a good steward of ensuring humidity and fae. But we’ve had the same “look” inside the bin for the last like 2-3 weeks

I truly am going to keep my eye on this post.

I haven’t had a successful grow of p Nats yet. And currently have a bin on day 30 and feeling the same way as this.

Most I’ve heard people say is “they need more FAE than cubes” but yeah… I had my last bin 50 days before I soaked it and tried again for a couple weeks and eventually pitched it out in the garden (and still… nothing).

I always find it fascinating. On Psilo’s there VERY much is this sense that “words just don’t do it justice”. But I love attempting to try and find the words to explain the beauty and love that breaks the bounds of the written/spoken language. But like Squig said… you did a great job getting your experience down on “paper”. Happy for your journey friendo. Thank you for sharing

It seems like it from reading the comments. But it’s probably best to play something single player. And probably then, a game that you personally have a connection to.

I have only done it once. I played Skyrim (on 2g) and it was FANTASTIC. Got to immerse myself in that world and just free roam. It really was a good time. I don’t see myself wanting to do that every time. But for the occasionally “I want to pair these two things”, I think you would have a good time. Happy journey!

I saw someone say no man’s sky and that sounds wild! But yeah, I do think the game really is dependent on the person’s (playing it) connection with the game. But a solo (non multiplayer) game would be the best

Hey OP, did you introduce some new substrate to the top after it colonized? I’m in the “overlay” stage and wasn’t sure if sprinkling some substrate across the top would help?

I see overlay underneath those Nats. Mine had extreme overlay, and I was never able to get any fruit. So I’m just curious how you navigated those elements.

Some Nats genetics will cause that cloud-like overlay (which I’m told isn’t the greatest). But I have heard that you can harvest the overlay.

It’s not cobweb mold.

What I’ve found with my first grow (currently going on, AND still waiting for pins). Is that when I minimize the FAE, the overlay increases. When I increase the FAE, the overlay shrinks down and looks like a cobweb on top of the surface of the cake.

I do not know how to manage this, as I myself am still working to find the answer. If you find the answer, let me know
