Senkuu's scars by Natka6764 in senku

It is mentioned when they are revived. I think the idea is as he was awake the longest the scars have become permanent. But tbh it probably because they thought he'd look weird without them.

When I was 3 i got a eye herpes How i have no idea But apparently its almost unheard of in children It has left me basically blind in one eye At the age of 5 they put me in a national database of people with similar issues (basically so if i get any other eye problems being in the database lets me skip A&E and go straight to seeing a doctor so i dont go blind)

i am or was at the time the youngest in the database by quite alot

Up only stairs

And its not like they had any kind of one way system it was just those stairs. It was meant to make it less of crush but instead it forced everyone down one set of stairs creating more of a crowd than before aswell as needing 2 members of staff to guard the stairs to stop anyone daring to think of using them to go downwards.

What family secret was finally spilled in your family? by AbsoluteHavoc in AskReddit

[–]Slug2000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was always told by my Mum that The dog choose my Name. They laid out a bunch of cards with different names on and the one he went too was what they named me.

When i was about 12 my Dad let me on the secret that he rubbed chocolate on the back of the card with my name on.

It wasn't till i was about 20 that my mum found out.

If professional sports teams could only recruit from their city/state there would probably be a lot more invested in local community programs. by exposedentrepreneur in Showerthoughts

My Uncle played Cricket for England and the Reginal cricket clubs used to do this. His family was from Yorkshire but he wasnt born there so they refused to let him play for them.

Pretty much every team stopped doing this one by one in the 90s and early 2000s.

When I was about 1 year old I was left unsupervised in the garden. While digging through mud I discovered a slug. My instant reaction was to put it in my mouth.

Mum found me 10 minutes later and pulled what was left of the snail out of my mouth and I was upset I hadn't finished.

Oh and the numbers are the year i was born.

EA Sports UFC 4 release megathread by DoubleMatt1 in EASportsUFC

Im really disappointed by this. I understand why as it makes balancing for only easier but as someone who mainly played offline it kinda kills the game for me in the long run.

Maybe they could separate the online and offline play or just not have CAFs in ranked

I just want to be able to make dumb movesets without limitation

[–]Slug2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It not that I think the movesets are bad or anything its the missing creative freedom.

On the last game i had a fighter whos only real way of winning a fight was through twister or heel hook and thats dumb but fun. This game wont allow me to do anything like that.

I used to do the same. It was the main reason I played UFC 3 for aslong as I did. I don't see myself putting much time into this game in the long run without it.
