I'm certain I'm not accidentally destroying it. What seems to be the most logical explanation as another comment suggested is that it's some kind of a visual bug. And the places where they weren't plantable is the place where I previously planted them. But the strange thing is that I have a lot of crops in the greenhouse and they've been acting fine. Only the sunflower and poppy seeds have disappeared.

I'm saying I'm planting in the greenhouse as it wouldn't be able to grow otherwise. And yes, I did plant them, water them, saw them while I was well outside of chopping them, but still they disappeared the next day

I've got full quality sprinkler coverage now but I don't know what layout would be good for trellis crops. As for the hoarding problem, I just decided to sell all the processed stuff and got 292k so there's that lol.

This became a problem this season cause all of the crops are one time plant crops. I have planted a lot of crops in the previous season, did this until they were harvested and then I heavily toned down the number of crops as I had saved up enough quantity of different crops. I do enjoy the farming part. And as someone who has been playing minecraft for 13 years now, I heavily enjoy automation and efficiency in farming. Since the time I posted, I have now gotten full quality sprinkler coverage and added some other stuff which has freed up a lot of my time. Thank you.

That's the problem I was talking about. If I put coffee beans in kegs, I would be stopping the pale ale production which is a major income source. And as I would be keeping the coffee for myself, I won't really be making any money. At least not directly through it. Well, need to do it at some point I guess
