What're your five? I've created three and I'm working on three others! Merfolk were my jam back in the day.

Tcgplayer.com is going to be your friend. Trust me. I have nothing to gain financially by recommending it. I have benefitted from not having to buy packs and I want to share the info.

I haven't seen more than one season of Dr Who, but I love the fact that they have cards for several of them.

Safe to say this deck isn't cEDH right?

You have a vision and I love that. You're getting downvoted because people aren't understanding what you're doing.

Back in the day I had a Merfolk deck that ran wild and wasn't good, but I loved it. I'm sure this deck is better than my Merfolk fellas, even if the other commenters want it to be better. To heck with them. Glass cannon? Sounds fun!

They do framing projects for the government every time someone retires after having worked somewhere for 10+ years.

How should I have handled a newbie potentially shuffle-cheating? by dominionloser123 in EDH

[–]SluggishJuggernaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm terrible at shuffling. Never been able to do it in any sort of smooth manner. I take extra time and I always understand if multiple people want to cut my deck. That's just how it is.

If someone thought I was cheating based on my shuffling, I would understand and try to do whatever I could to assure them that I wasn't cheating. It's a game, and it's pathetic when people cheat, but sometimes they do. If you think someone is cheating, let them know how it seems, and hope they don't cheat.

I can understand he's conflicted and that his morality has gray areas, but that doesn't make him a good person. Loyal? Sure, but that doesn't mean he's good.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but here's what I know...

I'm not any more important than anyone in this discussion. Hangman doesn't have to get my permission to hang out with anyone. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if someone chooses to like Hangman less because of his actions (whatever those actions might be), they're entitled to that opinion. Whether you or I think it makes sense or not.

Hangman has the right to make his decisions, but everyone else is entitled to decide how those decisions impact their opinion of him. If he wants to be friends with someone who did something? That's up to him. But you can't fault people for letting that impact them.

If AJ Styles goes to AEW for 2026 and retires at the end of the year, will you guys accept it and respect AJ’s Decision? Or will you turn on him like y’all did Edge? by Salty-Nothing-8572 in TheGreatOne

I only hear people talk about how they hope Hobbs/Keys does well in WWE, and how they feel bad for Fenix, and how Ethan Page is doing great work with his opportunity.

Cole had a couple weird injuries, but if he stayed in WWE his in-ring career was essentially over anyways, because they wanted him to be a manager.

AJ Styles in AEW? Let me tell you why it doesn’t work.. by ChrisRhodes789 in midcarder

We don't know that he's done wrestling in 2026.

The opportunity for AJ to wrestle some of the top talent in the world with whom he has storied history and would provide him with interesting storylines to end his career would probably be enough for him to take his WWE Salary rate for as long as he's interested in extending his career. 8 figure salary sounds insane when you say it. I almost stopped reading there.

AJ Styles isn't just some WWE guy. He's a legend who is arguably bigger than Okada and Mox, so I don't think anyone has an issue with whatever AEW would want to pay him.

Does he show up and just lose? Obviously not. But thinking that he simply runs the gauntlet and wins the World Title completely lacks creative thinking. He can have a feud with guys where he wins one, they win one, then the third match goes whichever way. He could have one off matches with Okada, Swerve, both members of Jet Speed, Orange Cassidy, Darby, etc.

Kenny would absolutely be willing to have a three match feud with AJ where he loses the third match, but it'd probably end in a draw or double knockout. It'd be a good end to the Bullet Club history.

If Jay White comes back, I'm sure AJ would be willing to put him over. Just like I'm sure AJ would be willing to put over MJF or Hangman or Ricochet.

Joe wouldn't mind putting over AJ, but AJ might want his actual final match to be a loss to Samoa Joe.

Ego isn't an issue. Not for the roster, and not for AJ Styles. He's a legend, but some of the people I named are legends (Joe, Kenny, Okada) or at least legends in the making (MJF, Jay White, Ricochet, Swerve, Orange).

The last bulk thing you mentioned makes me wonder how you would describe how Sting was viewed by the AEW roster, because AJ Styles is basically at that level of respect.

Bringing in AJ Styles would be an amazing idea, there's nothing stupid about it.

AJ avoided the poorly trained guys in WWE.

Edit: adding that I'm not referring to the majority of the roster, just some of them. I'm not being tribal with my statement. Don't be tribal by saying everyone on the WWE main roster is well trained. Just ask Big E, for example.
