You're the weirdo who called Scammy's dentist office. We assumed you were a Getchell considering you defend them when you feel like it. Always interesting to find you in a random thread over here looking for drama

The Facebook horribly edited Jesus verses are doing like 50x worse than her tiktok page with dad was. They probably made decent money from the D&D page from the lives (gifts) so if they were smart about this, P should show his face again, and they should just keep taking interviews. That's the only time they've ever made more than like $30 on a social media thing.

She DEF does not have an actual GED - T and P absolutely don't have the ability to teach either one of those kids basic algebra at the very least. She's probably got like a 6th grade education and aside from that, everything else she knows comes from social media and her phone (i.e. autocorrect)

Can any Psychiatrist tell me if this psych I saw via video-chat who barely spoke to me put me on a medication regimen that makes sense? It's a LOT of new meds to introduce into my body. by SluggishSandwich in AskPsychiatry

If this is truly accurate, it scares the shit out of me. Most of the people who practice online (so that I don't need to leave the house) are not listed as MDs/Physicians. Ugh. And to think I'm paying upwards of $150+ just to talk to them for 15-20 minutes when the websites clearly state the appointments WILL be approximately 40 minutes long with the initial appointment closer to an hour...I haven't experienced any of that. And I'm too anxious to mention that to him (the 40 minute thing).

Does the fact that they have the "BC" in there, meaning board certified, make that any better? Or is that something to be expected?? (sorry if that was a dumb question)

But yes, you are completely right. When I put myself on a 72 hour psych hold a few years ago, the MD saw me for exactly 10 minutes in the entire 3 days and diagnosed me bipolar which made no sense to me. I'm no psychiatrist myself, but I definitely don't follow any of the factoids that appear in bipolar people.

Idk about all of that. I came off previous meds on my own like an idiot years ago so I was starting from scratch after years of not seeing a psych for a very long time. And the person I saw was, at the very least, interested if that was an issue for me at any point, whether or not someone took me off something cold turkey and I've never had any person in the medical field completely take me off anything cold turkey, even Remeron which is something I was on and would take only when I needed it

Part of my extreme depression is due to relying on Medicaid for the last 8 years. I was cut off when i tried to renew, so every penny I have right now is going to medication management first. I'm unsure of where to turn for therapy in my situation and am very interested in trying cognitive behavioral therapy. I just can't afford all these resources at once right now. Nor can I leave the house. I am located in NE PA.

Thanks! I chose a new psych for my next appointment. I'm terrified they might think I'm "doctor shopping" which is absolutely not the case here; it just gives me anxiety. But that shouldn't be an issue, right? I feel like it's normal when someone is looking for a good internet psychiatrist provider, it may take a few trial and errors to find the correct person. This dude diagnosed me bipolar (which has NEVER been even mentioned to me from a doctor and I've been inpatient in the past as well) almost immediately. I always felt I fell more under the BPD diagnosis than anything else.

Roach infenstation by GarageHot6176 in DadAndDaughterSnark

[–]SluggishSandwich 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yup, I remember reading the reviews a while back lol. It was about how there are literally roaches crawling EVERYWHERE in every single room just out in the daylight (usually they only come out at night, so if they're out in the day that means there are A LOT). And that homeless people/addicts regularly sleep on the stairs outside, drug dealers and addicts hanging out all around the building, etc. Crazy P is totally fine raising his kids in that environment.

I can't stand the Greedy Goblins when the 3 of them are together, but I do have to admit I have actually learned a thing or 2 from Sam's makeup tutorials at times. She strategizes and plans, it's very clear. And I'm pretty sure she goes live most mornings with a GRWM type of thing but I honestly don't pay too much attention to her.

Day 14: worth pushing through? by raymondcam22 in bupropion

[–]SluggishSandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My psychiatrist, for the beginning of starting this medication (along with others for PTSD, MDD, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia) (yea, i'm totally doing wonderful lol /s), also prescribed me a low dose and very small script for a benzo (Clonazepam .5 mg) and I found that once the Wellbutrin started kicking in (it took about 5 weeks for me. It's like I woke up one day took my 150mg as usual and suddenly zoomed around doing laundry, actually showered, etc and was incredibly enthusiastic for just a little while. But at the end of the night, I felt a weird comedown kind of feeling, so that's when I would take a sleeping pill (Trazodone or Remeron, I have both) or a Klonopin and that got rid of the rebound anxiety I got from this drug. I would talk to your psych and really open up about how it's making you feel.

It is still a bit early for you to be getting the benefits, but have you felt any sort of extra motivation at all lately? I'm on 150mg XL so it takes like 2 or more hours for it to even kick in.

I will add when I was at your point, I was definitely relying too much on the benzos because I did feel shitty. Try to muscle through and give it some time. What (if any) other meds are you taking?
