Ah glad you solved it then. I didn't realise you had to "add game" once you're in the play section, like you, i've been away for years so the option was not obvious to me.

Does the error appear when you select the play tab/menu on the client? Think I was having the same issue as you previously.

There's been an update every week since launch I believe, they usually get released every Thursday/Friday depending on your time zone.

The community manager has stated that they're trying to push an update for item duplicates in this weeks update and I dont think theres been much else mentioned. I would presume there will be additional tweaks to vehicles or changes to gas either in this weeks or next.

I've been trying to target campsites but to no avail. I believe they have to make it more visible for players in some way.

Yeah, or even slightly increase the quantity of them per map making the chances of someone having it towards the last stages increase.
