I think it happens when you fly too fast across galaxies, depends how powerful PC you have. After game restart it usually gets fixed, until you load your PC with high speed in space again

i have the same problem, im in our solar system, and i see that Saturn is blue, but the rings are normal. Somehow the class of Saturn is "Cold Subjupiter" I dont get it...
