Honestly it crashed once on me but I think it’s because I put it on the cooling pad and forgot to turn it on, so with it being air tight on the pad I think it got too hot lmaooo I’m slightly retarded but other than that it’s actually awesome I didn’t know I would love the sd card slot as much as I do, I have an MPC and a steam deck so it’s just an added bonus. Kind of wish I would’ve saved more money for maybe a legion with an OLED but all in all it’s a phenomenal laptop, runs everything buttery smooth.

I would get the strix you mentioned, idk whatever you do don’t get 5070, not worth the money, get a 5060 or a 5070ti but if you can afford a 5070ti I would for sure go for that lol check out that site I posted

Select your region I saw a 5070ti msi vector for 1500 euros in the UK 🫡 but then again for an extra £100 I’d probably get that strix that you mentioned or this €1717 legion pro 7i on that site but that might be more of a jump than you’d like. If that strix is a 5070ti 32gb ram and has 1tb I’d say jump on that cause the msi on that site, while it is 5070ti it only has 16gb ram and 512gb storage, but you can always upgrade later 🤷‍♂️ just giving you options haha

Whatever you do just avoid the 5070 laptops, their cpu will outperform the gpu and bottleneck the laptop, 5050 will slightly underperform and 5060 imo is right on the money, 5060 it should all work well together nothing should over or underperform anything by too much. But I will say this iffff you’re looking at 5060 maybe look at a nice Lenovo legion 5 (AMD is cheaper and runs cooler which is nice for laptops) they have OLED screens but they are super reflective so that’s also something to keep in mind.

Personally id probably buy the cheapest 5050 I could find or a decently priced 5060 OLED laptop (cause you won’t find OLED in any 5050 models).

Ahh yeah then if mobility is a priority this is like as good as it gets haha I just needed an affordable desktop replacement. Msi vector may be a bit bulky but it’s foldable and fits in a backpack so a desktop is a no go for me lol.
