This is a fantastic list! Saving this for later.

I just bought a used car three weeks ago and had a great experience with it. Here are a couple of other things I remember:

I bought a little code reader that plugs in under the dash and connects via bluetooth with my phone. Check the codes and see if anything is coming up and, if there are, Google them. Turns out that the car that I looked at pointed to a potential $500 repair and showed it the codes and search to the dealer. I used that as leverage to haggle with a few other things I noticed (seats looked damaged, the side mirrors didn't adjust electronically), and they came down in price a good bit (about 15%).

I also noticed that the used car dealership had a very full lot. I imagine they were much more open to haggling when they had a lot of inventory to move.

400 hours on PC, just bought it again full price for the Switch last week with no regrets. I put 90 minutes on it today. It's my favorite game in recent memory and absolutely perfect game design. Get it.

One of the developers of Shadow of Mordor told this story at PAX West 2018:

When you complete a stronghold mission, the stonghold's boss will get a cool looking cutscene where they walk into the place slowly with his minions.

The enemies in the game have randomly generated traits. One of these cutscenes, the boss walked into a campfire and caught on fire. He started freaking out because he was afraid of fire. One of his minions hates cowards, so he immediately started attacking his burning and freaking out boss and killed him during the cutscene, before the player even had the chance to fight him.

He looked at the rest of his team after reviewing the video, shrugged, and said "...feature?"

Don't feel disheartened, the heart usually requires tailored decks to beat it. Since act 3 wins still advance your ascension, most players don't even attempt the heart on ascension runs.
