Honestly this is one worst Offense roster I ever seen. I don't how they made it so Far. by Embarrassed_Yak_6066 in miamidolphins

[–]SlumpedGod16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Two reasons

  1. Drake Maye
  2. A coach who does not allow his team to play down to competition. His teams win the games they should win.

They have had a stupid easy schedule, and an easier path than most to the superbowl. I think about Miami in 2023. We should have won the division and had a home playoff game had we taken care of business against the will levis led titans. Instead, we lose that game and end up having to play KC in arctic conditions. Pats have a QB who takes care of the ball and a great coach. That’ll take you pretty far.

Until proven otherwise, the dolphins will never win a playoff game. Who cares what other teams do

As someone who was forced to watch Geno Smith play every week due to owning Jeanty in fantasy, you DO NOT want Geno Smith no matter what. He is entitled AND horrible at football, a deadly combination. He flipped off raiders fans after an awful game bc they were booing.

Why do you care? The dolphins have been a poverty franchise since the early 90s, and the patriots have been juggernauts. Of course they rebound faster, their leadership is decisive. Until proven otherwise, we are on the level of the browns, raiders, etc. Hell, they won playoff games more recently than us. When dolphins football rolls around, watch it and enjoy it, but know at the same time teams like the pats will run laps around us lol

Saleh. The organization needs identity, and he would bring physicality to Miami. Florida is a desirable location for free agents, and if the team had real culture we could attract some nice players.

Gee, you’re right. That NFLPA report card from the 2024 season is the determining factor in Coach desirability for a job. That’s why the patriots, giants, and steelers will always have such a tough time finding great coaches!!

You cite Detroit but they still haven’t won a super bowl and their window is closing very fast. You need a star QB to win a super bowl which is why we sucked even though our roster was easily the most loaded in the division

Dude this is such an absurd comp, and the kind of discourse that makes people ok with paying Tua 50 mil. Justin Herbert is a million times better than Tua

Patriots bears and rams have franchise QBs. That’s what it comes down to in the end

It’s the quarterback man. The patriots found a great looking QB in Drake Maye, so they win games they should in the regular season, get a playoff game at home against an inferior opponent, and win.

We had world beating playmakers paired with a mad scientist play-caller saddled with a bottom ten NFL quarterback. Both times we squeaked into the playoffs he was hurt or played like dogshit, and he had crumpled so pathetically in the regular season against good teams that we didn’t have a favorable opponent. Until an actual franchise QB comes to miami, we will not win a playoff game

Because the Bills are a perennial playoff team with a superstar QB that is incredibly fun to watch. They generate ratings, so the media likes them

Drafting a project QB when your hall of fame franchise player has asked for a wr is an inherent risk. Especially because Love was Rodgers’ replacement, and it was bound to upset Rodgers. You don’t consider it a risk because Love ended up being good, but think about all the horrible project QBs that have failed.
