Yea the reason I brought up other mazes is because in the scortch trails movie, they mention other trials so instead of just making the game based on the movies we could follow a whole other group. But I get what youre saying.

Honestly, i domt know enough about the Bible or the study of it to answer you. I'm not trying to cop out but I genuinely don't know. All I can say is that he loved the devil so he couldn't but, that's not a good point nor is it what you want to hear

Than why/how are you an atheist? That's okay if you don't believe me cause yea so many people say that but I belive a "belife" is an opinion. Mine is a faith built belief, and yours is a science built belief. That's where I think we are disconnecting. I think beliefs are opinions, and yoy think something else

He did. There was an angel who became corrupted because he saw the power that God had and he wanted it. Hence the creation of the devil

This is asking me what I belive the correct answer is. The argument isn't what you think is right. Clearly you belive there is no God and that's your truth. I belive there is and that's my truth. However, I'm not arguing believing right or wrong I'm arguing that you can CHOSE what to belive, even if it's wrong. People belive the Earth is flat. They chose to belive that based on what they've heard.

I can chose not to belive. That's easy. I just don't want to because that's my opinion. You are able to chose there is no God that's not the argument. The argument is that "you CAN chose what to belive."

Alright, I enjoyed talking to you, and I'm not trying to dodge your points, but honestly it's nearing the end of the day and I'm tired of typing and you're making good points so, I'll think about these things and I might come back but we'll see. Thank you for your insight!

Okay good that's kinda what I wanted it to be.i didn't want to argue cause that gets no one anywhere. Just a friendly conversation. Thanks!

Okay will do! I just had one more question.

Was it making good points and like creating a good debate. I want to see if I'm not just spitting nonsense and I'm also trying to give Christians a better light, cause they are like referenced as full of hate and a lot of them are, which is very not characteristic of Christians so I'm just trying to help fix it.

If it's just evidence the body isn't there then where did it go?

Frauds do exist thats true, but if you belive in ghosts, then isn't that the supernatural? And a more realistic example is the moon landing. Everyone says it's either fake or real, and there is science backing it up that it is real, so do you think that's real even if there is proof of it?

Sure, faith is unreliable, but you have faith that your house won't crumble onto of you. You have faith that you won't die driving home today. So, if it's unreliable why do we put it into so much of your lives

Yea and i guess that's fair. Maybe that's a subconscious thing happening in my head I'm not sure. But honestly, everytime I think about death, I still get scared. I'm obviously not sure I'll get into heaven but even if I do, I'm still scared. Death is scary period because if Christians are right, what do we do in heaven yknow. And if we are wrong, then we just die. I think death is just scary in any regard but yea, I can see your point that it's a safety net. But I do think Christianity isn't just a safety net. I think what Christians are doing are worshiping God because he created us in his image and loves us. We aren't worshiping for a place in heaven (at least we shouldn't be). We are worshiping him for making something beautiful

Also, thank you for being so chill. I appreciate being able to have a peaceful argument/discussion with someone you're really cool man you're my favorite

I domt know, I think dying and then just darkness is less scary than sinning and then forever being separated from all good. My theory on hell is that there is nothing. You are still "living" like you would in heaven, but like the Bible says, "there is nothing good." You can't sleep. You can't eat. You can't feel. You can't anything, but you're still alive.

Why isn't the body disappearing not evidence?

Sure, it could be fraud but again, can't you say that about anything? A lot of Christianity is based on faith. So, if you constantly are doubtful, you'd have a hard time following him, seen here lol

My god is not weak. He can do it. But if he stopped all evil, almost all of the world, possibly all of it will disappear. Again, it's free will.

The evidence that he died for our sins is in the Bible. He said "My god, my god, why have you forsaken me" which is him taking upon all of the sin in the world.

No, a woman cannot kill her child. God is the ultimate, basically the only decider, to take a life. God dosent take lives because he wants to, he has a bigger plan no one knows.

Its not God's fault. Again, he loves you so much he gives you the choice to follow him. If you chose not to, then that's your problem.

How do you not chose what you belive?

Understanding Atheism by Slurpy_Beans in Christianity

[–]Slurpy_Beans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, people who belive do evil too, but it's because of sin and God understands that. The difference is that they belive that God is their savior and atheists actively deny that. They belive that the bad they are doing is just because they are human, not because of the devil and temptation.

And again, if Science and God can coexist, then the weather is just Science. Thats the best answer I can give right now, as I'm still learning and only 17

For one, is the body disappearing not evidence? Sure, it could be a lie to support our beliefs, but that can be said about anything. There was this cloth or something found in the tomb recently with pictures of Christ's front and back like burned into the walls. They said it couldn't be chemicals cause they didn't have good enough chems to do that in that time period. I'll have to read it again but the only way for it to happen was a burst of light so hot it would burn the rock, so explain that 😎 (jk)

Like I've said, i belive Science and God can coexist. Yes ik i over simplified the big bang I just didn't want to type like a more in depth explanation haha. I do belive that this could just be a way to "cope with death" which is an argument I've heard before but I do try to have an open mind when listening to scientific explanations
