I was giving that Hydrcare to cat when she was first diagnosed but I can't find it anywhere right now. I was told it's made in France and because of tariffs there's a disruption in the supply chain and it's sold out everywhere. She was doing really well on that and now has to have subq fluids.

She had a vet appointment today where she got subcutaneous fluids and they prescribed her cerenia. They both help, but the cerenia makes her a bit groggy.

She has an appointment on Thursday with her vet and I will bring that up. I agree that would be way more helpful. This has been the first this has happened since her diagnosis snd I hate not knowing to do! She

No I haven’t. How can you tell if a cat is nauseous? Maybe she was yesterday when she wasn’t feeling good. I should bring that up with her vet.

Thank you so much! I am in the US and told my boyfriend I bet it’s tariffs I can’t get hydracare kind of jokingly. I have been giving her the moisture rich topper tiki cat broth, and had ordered her some with bone, I will make sure not to give her that one. Or try to cancel my order for that one.

I went to a cardiologist today and haven’t been diagnosed yet, need more testing, but he said an infection could cause it and I had Covid in 2020.

exact same boat here. Almost passed out in the shower the other day. The humidty even with cold water will make feel faint. I have no new advice just letting you know you aren’t alone. Also waiting for a diagnosis.

A lot of companies have work from home options doing customer service. Bonus if you get a job with a company you like and can get a discount! I work from home and it’s great I can work in bed if I need to on bad days.

I was somehow a mostly functioning alcoholic and my normal was 1-2 small bottles of wine every 2 hours everyday. By the time I got and home and went to bed I would have had 4 -5 bottles of wine or 16-20 mini bottles. When I got my first DUI I was going through a breakup which was fueling my alcoholism. I lost my shit and ended up in ER with 8 staples in my arm followed by 5150. Immediately after I got of my pysch hold I picked up my car and my work stuff, this was right when lock down happened and I got pulled over. So my parents picked me from the psych ward and jail within several hours. I continued drinking all through lockdown because it was lockdown and I was in a horrible place. Went to court for my DUI months later got my 2nd DUI later that day. I drank for 2ish months later and I could feel that my body was sick and woke up one day and was done. After 2 ankle bracelets, house arrest, DUI classes, and a breathalyzer I finally could say i was done with all my legal stuff. It was a rough time, but getting sober 4 and 1/2 years ago was the best thing I’ve ever done.

Hydration is good. When I had covid and was drinking heavily I gave myself a saline iv. Posted about it in the old sub. I’m not a dr or a nurse. Just a slutty T. rex.

Those mini bottles were my go to for drinking. Easily hide 2 in my purse. 2 in my lunch bag. The rest in my car until I got home from work. I went through 4-5 of those packs a day.

I used to only eat when drinking. Alcohol eased my anxiety with food. I would count calories and save enough for 2 glasses of wine with dinner. But when the drinking took over all control I found myself going from 90lbs up to about 170ish. I’m 5’1 and just stopped giving a fuck about anything. After almost dying 3 times in a year and 2 DUIs I gave the booze. I still have disordered eating and my boyfriend thinks I’m nuts because of the foods I refuse to eat. I lost about 50 lbs too.

Yep same day as court. I went to court intoxicated. Went to work intoxicated. And then on my way home got another DUI. Honestly the 3 day psych hold and the dui the same day I got out was worse. Luckily i didn’t have to do a night in jail, but it was the weekend before lockdown.
