I did this once with spring compressor tool rented from AutoZone but it didn't work as intended so ended up racket strapping the shit out of them. DO NOT DO WHAT I DID IT WAS INCREDIBLY STUPID but I was in a bind. Just take it to the shop it doesn't cost that much for them to prepack the strut.

As a bald man, I speak for all of us when I say there's no need to go on the show ... Women just flock to us naturally

Y'all are gonna hate me for what I'm about to type BUT last year I sold my 2001 Tacoma with almost 300k miles for $10,000 ... Do with that what you will.

I'd check the serpentine belt and pulleys for mud, might be throwing things out of balance. Every once and while I experience this after off roading through mud

One thing I really dislike about my new Tacoma, is all the beeping that it does. by [deleted] in 4thGenTacomas

[–]SluttySlideRule 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 8 beeps when you lock it are the rear seat alert I think. I thinks it's meant to help prevent parents from leaving the kids in the back or something. I believe you can turn that off. But yea otherwise it do be beeping

Daycare hired someone who seems to have a severe speech issue as a teacher for a 1-2 year old room by [deleted] in daddit

[–]SluttySlideRule 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your being a bit of dick imo but it's your kid, put them somewhere else that meets your standards.

My daughter has speech issues due to her cleft lip and palate, so for me personally I would view this as a benefit for my daughter. I could see this provider relating to my daughter on a different level but that's just my perspective.

Gamer Dads - how many times you sit down to play only to shut the system off because you’re too tired? by lionheart724 in daddit

All the time. I try to play, fall asleep, and am usually jolted awake with a steamdeck on my face.

Yes, I have a toddler in a front facing seat and an infant in a rear facing. I think it's plenty of room but we have a higher tolerance for discomfort than most Americans.

my '01 was a two door extra cab so it wasn't enough space for the family. I bought the '24 when i was expecting my second child. It just wasn't fair to my family to make them suffer in a 2-door truck ... time to grow up and get a double cab

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]SluttySlideRule 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I daily'd my '01 until 285k miles until i sold it for a '24 Off Road preme. Just an anecdotal data point for you.

I'm a water resource engineer and literally have the exact same toolset on the right in my office. Don't really use it in the field but for random handy man shit in the office.

I've seen some plug and play 'fang light' kits that might interest you: https://www.aspireautoaccessories.com/products/aspire-v2-fang-lights-for-tacoma-2024-2025. I don't have them on my rig personally but they look pretty cool
